Sophie
Decrion…
is a renowned and well-respected interior designer in Paris, with a resident’s knowledge of the local shops and markets. Her knowledge of history and high style make her an expert guide for a successful shopping safari in the maze of Parisian boutiques as well as the Marche aux Puce (the flea market) with its literally hundreds of antique stores. She will also treat you to a tour of the Chateau de Villette, your home away from home when you visit Paris. The daughter of a French father and an Italian mother (and grand-niece of Josephine Baker), she personifies the European sensibilities. She travels extensively with her husband, who buys and sells race horses, but she also enjoys time spent at their homes in Paris and Cuernavaca, Mexico.

Martin Saxon…
spends as much time as possible at his farmhouse in Italy, but resides in his hometown of London. For the last 15 years he has owned, managed or consulted for restaurants such as The River Café, The Square, The Park and The Lexington. In addition to owning a catering business, he is now a food and wine writer and a consultant specializing in Italian wines. He co-ordinates wines for the menus and regions, constantly monitoring trends, and researching and updating new producers to ensure we drink as well as we can. We are extremely fortunate to have Martin with us not only for his amazing expertise, but also his finely honed sense of humor.
